Owl & Moon Event Venue is a rustic yet upscale wedding and event venue located in Dixie, Georgia, between Thomasville and Valdosta. Surrounded by towering South Georgia pines and an eight-acre pond, the property offers a peaceful setting for weddings, receptions, corporate functions, private parties, and other special occasions.

The venue features multiple indoor and outdoor event spaces, including the Altar in the Woods, Chapel by the Pond, Courtyard Stage, main reception venue, and spacious outdoor courtyard. Couples also have access to a bridal suite, Groom’s Den, scenic photography locations, and several thoughtfully designed spaces overlooking the water.

With options ranging from single-day rentals to full-weekend packages, Owl & Moon can accommodate celebrations of up to 250 guests. Its natural scenery, distinctive handcrafted details, and flexible event spaces create a memorable South Georgia setting for everything from intimate ceremonies to complete wedding weekends.

• Cancellation Policy: Cancellations forfeit the $1,000 date-hold fee. Additional payments not yet due may be refundable, but rental payments are nonrefundable when cancellation occurs within 90 days of the event.

• Monday–Thursday Access: 9:00 AM–8:00 PM
• Friday Access: 10:00 AM–10:00 PM
• Saturday Access: 9:00 AM–11:00 PM
• Sunday Access: 9:00 AM–9:00 PM

Time & Noise Restrictions

• Events must end within the contracted rental period. Outdoor music must be lowered during the final two hours of the event, including by 10:00 PM on Saturdays.

Additional Fees & Important Details

Cleaning Fee

Standard post-event cleaning is included. Excessive cleaning may result in an additional charge of approximately $100–$500 per affected location.

Security Fee

Security is not required, but security may be required for larger events at the renter’s expense.

Overtime Fee

$500 per hour or portion of an hour, per location used beyond the contracted time.

Damage Deposit

A separate $1,000 refundable damage deposit is due two weeks before the event.
